The main jobs this month are clearing away the remains of the summer bedding plants, and preparing non-hardy plants for the first frosts. You can also plant bulbs ready for early spring.
Traditionally the hottest month of the year so keep your eye on your greenhouse. Open the vents regularly to allow some fresh air in and the humidity out. Also watch out for the build up of bugs.
