Do you ever look at your winter garden and think to yourself how sad and brown everything looks? Do you wonder if it will ever be as beautiful as it was last spring and summer? I do all the time! It just look so drab out there right now.
Project idea: Cold Months vs Warm Months Garden Photos
- Go outside and take a few snap shots of the current state of your garden. Make sure to take photos of bare beds, bare branches of trees and any other parts of your garden that is hibernating or waiting for new seeds. Also, make sure to take a wide angle shot of your whole garden!
- In mid-May, take the same snapshots of your garden. Post all of your snap shots here (or just enjoy them yourself at home) so that you can see what a difference a few months makes!
- The results will be like a before and after makeover garden edition! ;) Also, you can use your snapshots for ideas for next years projects (What areas did I not attend to during the winter? Did I not prune my fruit trees correctly? etc.).
I hope you find this project just as fun as I do. I love seeing dramatic before and after photos...and I will love to look at my warm weather photos when I am feeling humdrum during the winter.
