Chelsea Flower Show 2013

It's that time of year again! Here at Get into Gardening, we're really excited for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show starting this coming Tuesday, May 21st. We're curious - are you going to the show? If you're going this year or have gone in the past, tell us your favorite part of the show! Perhaps you love the florist competition, the large displays or show gardens? Also, what's the most beautiful flower display you have ever seen at the CFS?

Share your experiences! We can't wait to hear them so don't be shy. Also, feel free to include photos you've taken at previous shows. We absolutely love plant photos here at GiG! :)

Yes, well done to Homebase on getting a Gold medal.

I'm watching it on tv this year. I would have loved to have gone this year with it being the centennial but my son is in the middle of taking his GCSEs and when the tickets went on sale, we didn't know what exam dates were so I'll just have to remember the smell of the lily stand (my all time favourite) from previous years and imagine that I'm there

Plant Queen and Sue - Thank you for the praise! The HB garden truly was a sight for sore eyes - so lovely!

@Sue - Such a shame you could not go this year. :( You will defintely have to make up for it and go all out next year...or maybe go out now and buy yourself a new lily plant!

Just want to say that the HB garden looked excellent. Any chance you will be selling any of the furniture/ pergola/ arbor styles that were in the garden.

All the furniture and structures were custom built especially for the day - however, we do sell wooden garden furniture, and even have some great offers online at the moment:
