Now that you've joined, tell us a little about yourself. First, fill out your profile -- add a photo and fill out your bio.
Q: How do I find my profile?
A: After you have logged in, select your name at the top right of the screen. Near the right, middle part, of the page click on Complete Your Profile.
Q: How do I add an avatar?
A: Once you have selected Complete Your Profile, look for the choose Avatar Photo button just under Basic Information. Upload a picture of yourself, or perhaps a garden or plant that inspires you. You can upload a JPEG, Gif, PNG, or bitmap file. Keep it on the smaller side and keep it clean :).
Q: How do I fill out my bio?
A: Show off, sound off, or simply state a few of your favorite things. We want to know about you and allow others in the community to glimpse of who you are. After you add your avatar, jump down to the next field, and fill out your bio. Keep going... get really detailed and also fill out your gender, birthday and location.
Q: What else can I do from my profile?
A: Set your Preferences -- decide who can view your Public Messages and which kind of email notifications you'd like to recieve. You can also add friends and post messages to each other's profile page.

All set up! It's time to get involved...
Q: How do I respond to a forum discussion?
A: There are two options.
If you see a discussion you are interested in adding to, simply click the name of the discussion and select reply.
If you want to add a new thought, which is not necessarily a direct reponse to an existing post, but in theme with the discussion, you can also select "New Post" at the top of any discussion or add a post at the bottom of the screen.
Q: How do I start a new discussion?
A: If you see a forum topic (ex. "Your Top Tips") you are interested in adding to, choose New Discussion.
Q: Can I subscribe to different posts?
A: Yes! You can subscribe in a few different ways:
When you respond to a discussion you have the option to uncheck the box at the bottom of the screen.
You can also subscribe to any forum or discussion at the top of the forums.
Q: Can I edit my post?
A: Absolutely! You can go back to edit your forum posts by clicking “edit” at the bottom of the post. You must be logged in to do this.
Q: What else can I do in the Forums?
A: A lot! Customize your post by using the text editor, add a photo, insert a poll, or mark as a question.
Q: How do I post a Blog?
A: If you are a Test Panel member you will be given special access to create a blog. Read more here. Not a member (yet!), but want to offer your take...
Q: How do I comment on a Blog?
A: Simply go the blog post of your choice, and submit your response.

After you've been active for a while you will start to notice little images assigned to your profile. Each of these is a badge and is awarded to you for various contributions.
Q: What are the badges for?
A: Bragging rights! We're all here to share and learn, but a reward that boasts your accomplishments never hurts.
Q: I also see points. What's that?
A: For each contribution in the community you also acquire Nectar Points. Terms and Conditions are outlined here.
