i have just planted a damson tree to add to my fruit trees,i was very surprised that they could be bought so easily on the internet as i spent days going round the garden centres and diy stores and not seeing much choice at all,i cant be the only one to like their sharp taste,i think the stores are missing a trick here,easily propogated,tasty fruit,none of the tasteless burger bar rubbish,got my grandson on them now,he had never tasted them until i bought some and they were made into a pie......drooling....if you decide to grow anything yourself,make it something that has a taste,go on, treat yourself.......
I've never tried Damsun plums. How does the taste differ from other plums? What other dishes do you like to make with the fruit?
